So last week I recommended Spencer Bell and Josh Woodward, hopefully you checked them out. This week I'm taking a break from the acoustic genre and moving to a band I think you will enjoy if you have an open mind like I do.

- How Did I Hear About Them? Danny Smith (from the FOX Family show Big Wolf On Campus) is in this band. I loved that TV series - which also starred Rachelle Lefevre! - and looked up Danny Smith recently to see where he ended up.
- Sounds Like... It has been compared to Green Day and Wheezer. If you like a little edge to your music, look them up.

- How Did I Hear About Them? Landon Austin (from YouTube) is in the band with his friends. I found him in recommended videos and followed him until ColorFire came about.
- Sounds Like... Simply Owl City. I used to loathe Owl City and eventually grew to love them and ColorFire. If you love the catchy and computerized melodies of Owl City, you'll love ColorFire.
- Where Can I Find Samples/More? YouTube (Landon's page) and the newly released ColorFire YouTube as well as their website and Twitter.

- How Did I Hear About Her? Last night I put "Supermassive Black Hole acoustic" in the search engine on YouTube and her cover was one of the first. I didn't know what to think of it really, then looked at the rest of her page and fell in love.
- Sounds Like... For you Eisley fans, I think you'll like her. Mainly female vocals with a bit of a rock edge. Paramore, The Duke Spirit, and Denali also sound similar to her raspy powerful vocals.
- How Did I Hear About Him? I'm a huge Kina Grannis fan and his videos were in the related section on YouTube.
- Sounds Like... Jason Mraz and any other Coffee Shop acoustic players. He has a southern twang and a unique timbre.

- Sounds Like... Ellie Goulding and La Roux with a touch of Miss Grannis.
- Miscellaneous: Just won a contest "One Click to Fame," and she is currently sharing demos with her fans on her YouTube channel. Check it out and support her. If you like what you hear, you can soon buy her album (hopefully!).
